Portsdown Hill

I haven’t been doing a lot of walking recently so this year I’m trying to get at least an hour of walking done a week in hopes of building myself back up and doing some longer distance hikes as the weather improves.

So on an impulse I walked up on to Portsdown Hill with three intentions; Have a decent walk, test my Garmin Instinct 2, and test my GoPro Hero 13. I managed to accomplish all three of those and did a much longer walk than I intended, however the GoPro test was a bit of a failure and didn’t come out too well, but the Instinct 2 was absolutely brilliant for the walk, the GPS tracking was great.

The walk was one that I did back in lockdown with Min, with some deviations (like ending up at the Fort Widley Electricity Sub-station - oops!) but on a whole it was a great walk and reassuring to know I can do over 6 miles with elevations with relatively easy effort.
