First Wand

My daughter and I went for a walk in the local woods and collected some sticks, they selected this stick and asked if I could make them a wand. I stripped the bark from it then cut in the design they liked the idea of, before priming and painting. I used a matt varnish on the wood and a high gloss varnish on the green which gave it a bit of a glow. It all came out rather well.
