Bushcraft Birthday

Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to Bushmoot this year so for my birthday I wanted to do something akin to it, learn some bushcraft, so Min got together a group and booked us in with Alex who put together a completely bespoke weekend of bushcraft for us.

We learnt some important knots, how to put up a ridgeline for tarp, how to filter water, make fire, whittling and carving a spoon and makeshift stakes for guy lines, as well as prepping food and cooking over a campfire. It was a wonderful and educational experience with some wonderful friends that will stick with me for a long time.
